As irritating, counter productive and confusing as some of the rules the government puts out here are at least they are doing something, unlike the incompetent idiot(s) in charge of the federal government are in the US. I think I'll take my chances here and skip this fight back to the heavily infected Trumpistan.

I did a little calculation (yes, I'm bored)

The flight to USA is $1,200 plus $200 domestic sweeper flight.

So that's $1,400 which equates to about 71,000 pesos.

Now let's say a bottle of Tanduay is 120 pesos, and a haircut is 50 pesos, and you get your hair cut once a month.

So......for the price of the flight you could get haircuts for a year and 587 bottles of Tanduay, or 1.6 bottles of Tanduay a night for a year.

And that's not even taking into account the flight taxes and fees and getting from LA to wherever you need to go.

    Yeah.....stay in Dumaguete

    Cheers

Agreed mate latest news from back there indicates another burst upwards in figures now the back to work movement has wrecked its influence. Predictions I read today are frightening just because of a lack or proper leadership. AND ITS GOING TO GET A LOT WORSE THERE. YOU MARK MY WORDS. The US now has third of the worlds infections and a quarter of the death rate and all that from such a wealthy and knowledgeable country who should be leading the world in the best recovery figures, not one of the worst.
