We are affected but if other locals complain to the right authority about a foreigner’s post as interfering with public opinion, it has already been demonstrated that social media is fair game in the pressing of such charges, even resulting in extradition requests from foreign countries like Taiwan (well known case). I must assume that activities can affect our visa status or worse; we know the law, it has been made known to us and we know it is sometimes enforced.
