Had the same thing, but mine was tender and juicy. Maybe just cook it differently. I will have turkey again this year. along with cranberries, stuffing, sweet potatoes and a pie made by the little baker I love.

With the Holiday season upon us, I know some who like a bit of either Cranberry Sauce or Jelly with their meals. Go to Shoppee, they have Ocean Spray. I ordered two cans the other day.
Haven't found any stuffing mix yet. Might just have to get some very fine corn meal, make corn bread a day or two before, leave it out and have cornbread stuffing with my turkey.-

Cranberries are just in our backyard, no need to buy it in the market. My kiddos love to eat cranberries, especially in the morning with an empty stomach.

First, I coat the bird generously with butter and olive oil, then season it, I don't stuff the bird. Then cover the bird with an aluminum foil tent for all but the last hour of cooking. Remove the foil so the bird browns, and then take out, let rest, carve and enjoy. It really is that simple. What I found was that most people who ended up with a dry bird, did the opposite with the foil tent, they added it last.-
