If you managed to complete a bureaucratic process (whatever it was, and with whatever agency), in an hour for only 80 pesos ... you should be celebrating.

Waste of time complaining about it. It will be just part of the institutionalised bureaucracy that makes things work here.

My wife recently had a little collision with her car, i say little but still managed to break a headlight and dent the wing, the collision was with our gatepost so as she's been driving for 10 years and had this car for 1 year i can only assume the gateway is getting narrower or the car is getting wider.
Anyway what's done is done and the insurance will fix it, BUT first we must get a police report, how so ? no other vehicle damaged and no one injured.
I took her to the police station and waited outside, 5 min later she came out with an officer who looked at the damage and they went back inside, 30min later she comes out and i thought that's not too bad, BUT now she has to go to some other office round the corner and pay 80 pesos for a piece of paper too take back to the police so they can give her the piece of paper the insurance company needs before her car can be fixed.
The whole deal took just over an hour, in my view a shocking waste of police time.
If i were the PNP i would tell the insurance companies that they are not doing this part of their job for them.-
