www.xeno-canto.org is a wiki kinda site for bird songs. the recordings are nowhere as good as the real thing but should give a person an idea.

there's another sound that i can't name but it happens when my two adjacent neighbors are gone; guess i could call it quiet if weren't for the dogs, roosters, goats, muffler-less riders and the (4) neighborhood construction projects racket. it's best heard at daybreak on sunday mornings and at times between 1am and 5 am.

 

Also a Metallica fan.

But my favorite would be Bob Dylan and especially this one.

You could also mean no roosters, no karaoke, no motorcycles without mufflers or the nonstop barking of dogs on short chains.

its the only thing that gets me (for I don't get it), its classical music, it does everything that hot showers, beer, mary j used to do, for me, music is part of the food chain without it we suffer, it's like being at a funeral and we are the only person there.
