I have had same problem from time to time and always end up with friends/neighbors who take care of my dog. A thought, Dumaguete animals sanctuary (DAS) has a group of volunteers, all animal/dog lovers maybe one of them would help you and earn a little pocket money same time. I can only say good things about the people there, they do a great job for the stray dogs, that's another topic. I would not be nervous by letting one of these persons take care of my dog.
