Ok, well here is an update for those who were interested previously. There were 8 children, 7 of them were the Mother's who has been charged with the murder of all 8, and one was her niece who was visiting. There are 5, yes FIVE fathers. AND the Mother was dating 2 other guys, NONE of which were the fathers, prior to this incident. Busy, busy social life had she. The house was a Government Housing Commission home, and of course, she was on Social Welfare payments. Receiving extra payments for each child.
MY! MY! What a tangled Web we weave, when are the Worlds Social Welfare Systems going to do the job properly and not just keep paying out to make some lives easier and probably with a social life better than those paying for it. I guess it will be reported that Non of the Kids were ever on an At Risk Register. If, one was I bet it was the niece! of course that will be another Story. What, may I ask, has the Parents of the said niece had to say on all this?
They have actually been speechless and totally devastated to put it mildly, they have given only a few words to that effect to the media, like why ?, and now are not available for comment, which is totally understandable.
Sorry, I couldn't find the old thread. Seems it might have gotten deleted on accident with some of the spam where I hit the "delete permanently" button instead of the soft delete. So she was a welfare wh*re. Was the state giving her a free ride to much stress for her? I'm sure her parents must be proud, they appear to have done a great job raising her. We have similar problems in the US. I would like to see the state limit the payouts to two kids per family. Though, any politician who attempted to make such a law would immediately be labeled a racist and it would be political suicide. (actively receiving social welfare should=no voting rights IMO. It's a conflict of interest.)
Hmmmmmmmmm, was this mentioned before child number 8? A horrific discovery The woman's 20-year-old son made the gruesome discovery, a relative of the family told CNN affiliate Seven Network. "He got off the bus and he found his mother and siblings," Lisa Thaiday said. Police said Saturday they talked to the 20-year-old but that he is not a suspect. I have heard of skeletons in the Cupboard but one has to wonder how many more will be lurking about?
I don't think that was mentioned before. Have they said how many children are alive? Did this woman have more than 10 children FFS? On a positive note: her lawyer's request to have the case moved to a mental health court has been rejected by a judge. Does Australia still have the death penalty? If they don't they should bring it back just for this case.
