Hard to speak in generalities because there are many exceptions. You're talking here about the lesser of two evils.
Sorry, but I just cannot believe that a woman in her 20's is going to have sexual attraction to a guy in his 60's.
They can tolerate him, especially if he is not too sexually demanding, but I really doubt most of them look foward to sleeping with these guys. Some women are just not motivated by sex, they think in terms of supporting their families, but this usually boils down to sex and partnership in exchange for monetary support and security. It's not real love in the romantic sense.

 

Yes I as agree with your assessment, in fact that is what several of them do, suggest a friend or relative, which put me in the difficult position of maybe having to reject someone who is their friend because I have never met them. It is not only shyness but several have told me they are worried about community gossip and being seen as a prostitute-this seems particularily true in rural provincial or small town settings, but I have even had women in Cebu tell me this. I one who is allegedly going to see me to I invited to join me at my table in a restuarant and she was "too shy" to do it. Then later she txts me and tell me she was embarrassed to do this with others watching her.

 

well you DO have the same registratoin ip as longtymerinphil and you both have email adds registered at dispostable.com. quite a coincidence i would say, seeings as i have never befor heard of dispostable.com and the registtration id is exclusive to te two of you. after that many ips, like someone using a proxy server. are you sure your not related to samsoft/spcd/nikoshinkai/bendan, answerin your own posts?

 

Some, not all by any means, but some Filipinas like to collect phone numbers for various reasons...

1. Txtmates
2. More people to contact in case they need a load
3. Collect and Select....get as many names and numbers as possible, then run them ragged to find out who is really interested and will put up with their B.S.


I suggest that you text her, if you're interested, invite her to lunch the following day. If she gives you an excuse as to why she can't meet you, then try one more time about a week later...Enjoy your lunch together (if she shows up on time, which is RARE!)or do some collecting and selecting of your own!

If she can't/won't meet with you after two invitations...SHE isn't interested enough in you to waste any more time on her.

all i know is you and steveinasia seem to have a awful lot in common, according to the board stats both have ip address which changes with every post and is sometimes the same and exlcusive to you, both have anonomous email addresses at dispostable.com both abotu the same age (neitehr of which are 60 years old, although you imply yuou are). you two must at the very least be neignbors.

my apologies if you feal im acting paranoid we have just had one thread wear the op has multiple usernames and used it to promote his biz. you two are not harming anything though even if you are one and the same and are creating some intersting threads/thoughts. procede at your leisure. ill try not to be so paranoid.

 

Think of attraction as primal, then you will understand. Women want protection for their young. They want good-looking and healthy babies. How does this relate to attraction? The men have to look good and strong - i.e. "good hunters and protectors". OR.... they have to look like they have money. Money = good hunter and protector.

We have all heard the ZZ TOP lyric; "Every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man."

If the guy still looks somewhat good at an advanced age AND has money, and is responsible, he will attract a younger woman that will love him.

 

I have many good things to contribute to this board

but there are MANY sites on the internet and I only contribute generously to those that do not censor posters, who do not ban posters for no real reason (other than some "moderator" or paying member offended someone or an advertiser) or that are generally a PITA to use.

That being said, there were many good replies to my post so I will fill you in on what happened with one txt lady who I thought was playing me. Alex got it right, turns out she is one of MANY Pinays who have b/f s or husbands that support them from abroad and visit the Rp infrequently. So they have to have their needs met somewhere else; this is where I came in.

Upshot is I thought her texting was playing me, but there was something more sincere in her tone and content, so I went with it.
She spent the night here, we had a good time and she was honest with me from the beginning telling me she could not offer "serious" but could offer fun together (refreshing contrast to all the Filipinas who want you to marry them), which is what I am preferring at this point anyways. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places, probably, but I have met very few Filipinas here I consider marriage material and maybe fewer that consider ME marriage material, haha! We have three Filipinas near where I live that are probably doing the same thing as this woman, living in luxury with an absentee b/f supporting them. I WISH I could find a woman to buy me a nice house and get lost in Europe so I could play around and do whatever I wanted. Guys who do this I figure are either so rich they don't care if they throw there money away or so in love that they will do anything to keep a woman, even if the woman is doing little or nothing for them.

Lest someone now accuse me of racism, racism has no part in it. I harbor no racist views towards natives here, I simply call it as I see it, whether foreigner or native, makes no diff to me.

I felt a little like I was being used by this woman, but we were using each other with no false expectations or promises, so that is ok with me until I fall in love which looks doubtful as I have only been in true love once in my life and maybe never again, and she was not Filipina. The rest of the texters are just playing text games. Life must be pretty dull if this is the method they use to "develop" realtionships.

During her visit, she was extremely afraid of others seeing her, even though I am about an hour from where she lives. Filipinas are smart, they realize when they have a good thing and try hard not to mess it up. As far as I am concerned, I give any woman whose mine freedom and I expect freedom in return. Most women are no different then men, they need and want sex and you cannot expect a woman to stay alone for a year waiting for you to get there for it.
