    Mamsa is a jack or trevally, very tasty.

    Dorado is dolphin fish. Locals (fishermen?) dont want to eat it 'cause they say dorado eat drowned people's ball* :biggrin:

    Grilled mamsa tonight. Wife made a soy, chili, onion and I'm not sure what else filipino dip. Very good, we like it better than dorado but I still like Lapu Lapu more.

    They sell tuna in a can here. Cheap. No bones. Easy to eat if you have a can opener or a knife. Probably my favorite.

    I'll have to check if it is cheaper per can vs. fresh per kilo...pretty hard to grill in the can but do have a recipe to make tuna patties; have to find some buns though.
