Activities for Labor Day in Dumaguete City, and Valencia town in Negros Oriental, will pay tribute to the contributions to society, and their hard-fought rights of the country's labor force. The Tripartite Industrial Peace and the Department of Labor and Employment, in coordination with the Public Employment Service Office, said the 113 th Labor Day celebration will kick off with a motorcade 6 a.m. Friday, from Rizal Boulevard to Robinsons Place, where a workers' program will then be held. The main highlight is a jobs' fair, with 16 local businesses and eight international recruitment agencies participating, and applicants are advised to be ready with their resumes and other documents.
