We ran it for 24 hours but that included a small fridge and a few LED lights, oh and a new 32 inch TV, which was on for a few hours only.

A small 1hp aircon with those appliances might register 27Kwh with special emphasis on the “h” of course:-)

Looks to me that your aircon is drawing what it should and at the rate you are showing it should equate to a fairly large aircon in hp. (220 v at 5 A = roughly 1hp so the room should be quite small So if your room is small and not getting cold then the aircon is defective. (Re-gas?) If the room is larger than a reasonable size bedroom then the aircon is not man enough for the job.

It's my tenant who is running the aircon. the A/C is in a small bedroom but he leaves the bedroom door open so the cold enters the sala, so house is 27sqm.
Might have over used the A/C and needs re-gas. Got someone to test it today.

Ha, just happened to see this. I am using an iPhone and I believe I was typing “real” power (resistive) but it was spellchecked and Rhône must have come out. In any case I was not referencing anything about environmental issues or any bs along this lines.

I also did not know some details in this regard and I had to turn to specialists in the field to solve everything and I was very curious to understand how it works.
