I have just signed up and this is my intro. We have just moved from Hawaii last Nov 2011 and stayed in Mindanao for 3 months. We decided to move to Cebu but ended in Dumaguete. My husband found this place great for his retirement. There are lots reasons to stay in Dumaguete. I have some questions and need some help and guidance from everyone who are willing to share their knowledge.
Aloha, welcome to the forum and to Dumaguete. There are guys on this forum who have lived here 30+ years as well as new guys, so you can probably count on most of your questions being answered. There is a search feature on the forum which you can use to fast access a subject, such as 'dentist', and you will see posts related to that subject. So don't be shy and fire away with your questions.
Thank you Pat0. Everytime i search something about dumaguete, this forum pops up on the first page of google, thats obviously one of the reason why i joined this forum. I started posting some of my questions under certain topic thread.
Aloha, further clarification regarding search. The Forum itself has a search function. The easiest way is to log in then at the top right there is a white data entry point with "advance search" written underneath it. Key in a test like Dentist and you can see how it works.
I lived in Hawaii for 10 years and worked my arse off, it was good, but I bought a small boat and took off. Now after 14 years I wouldn't change a thing. Hope to meet you here. Ron
