The drug (or any other drug) isn't the problem. Most drug users use drugs (alcohol is a drug as well) without ever becoming addicts or developing a problem. Addiction and mental illness is the problem. This old school US 1970's "war on drugs" thought process is garbage. It doesn't work. Drugs are not the problem. Mental health is the problem.
I guess it turns out that you have to actually be convicted of a crime in a court of law before you face any real repercussions for the action you were accused of...as it should be. Just being arrested doesn't mean sh*t, anyone can be arrested for any thing at any time by any police officer. They may have set you up for some reason, they may have a chip on their shoulder and don't like foreigners, maybe you flirted with their wife and they wanted to get even, maybe they overheard you talking smack about the Philippines, maybe you were found guilty by association (hanging out with people you didn't know were dealers), they may have planted evidence, they may not have and just arrested you without bothering to plant evidence. This is why courts exist. Law enforcement does not get to determine who is guilty and who isn't.
Being arrested does not mean much of anything other than you were accused of a crime...but that accusation means nothing until a court agrees with it and finds you guilty. It is amazing how many people here think an arrest means a person is guilty. If I didn't know any better I would say these people come from and support a police state.
Maybe they did it right and they found that the evidence didn't support the accusation? Good thing they don't have trial by jury in the Philippines. I would never opt to be judged by my "peers"...since most of my "peers" seem to think that "arrest = guilty, case closed".-

If they did it right he would not have been deported, just sitting in a stinking Filipino jail mulling over and over in his head was it worth it..

Drug offenses are bailable. There are only a few things like serious corruption charges that have no bail. If the charges are weak ( or you are " important") the judge will still grant bail.
If you read the local news there are many stories where people get busted for drugs while they are out on bail for other drug charges.
I don't recall the exact circumstances of your arrest so I will ask you. Was a minor female involved. If a minor was involved that would make your case a lot more complicated than just possession.
Whatever the facts are you might want to consider moving out of this town. It seems the PNP don't like you.-

Yes but that is where we are from... here its all just going thru the motions,, and in the end no one will know the real outcome. How many politicians have been caught for graft and corruption and really how many have been jailed.??? Never forget where you are.. did you see the one where a senator said he wants the death penalty for police who plant evidence???

You aren't helping your situation by replying. It is best to utilize the freedom you currently have any GTFO of Dodge.

No it isn't. It wasn't last time they arrested him. I doubt it will be any different this time around.
That is actually a pretty small amount. You could probably sell to around 12-24 people with that amount and make about a P500 to 2k profit per gram. He would be lucky to pay his rent after paying for fuel in deliveries. (Judging from the looks of his rental in the photos the last time he was arrested.)
I'd say he is likely (allegedly) dealing to support his (alleged) habit. My guess would be that he was selling 7 grams to pay for the 8th and keep that for himself (or sell 8 and keep the 9th that was probably hidden in his house). A gram would probably last a heavy user a couples weeks. Maybe a month?
If he is guilty he is a very small fry. I'm sure they are far more interested in who is supplying him. If the evidence is strong against him there is likely a deal to be offered.-

8 grams is no small amount... he is a medium level street dealer and hopefully will not bail out this time...-
