I bumped into Andy ay Belcris. He gave me his card and said he is a Swiss chef and opened up a restaurant on Santo Nino Road (to El Oriente Resort). What he said sounded good, I think he has an Italian menu. Anyone been there? It is not far from the mall.
I live just across the road from there but have not tried the food yet, it looks well fitted out, asawa said open at 5pm only, that may change if he starts getting a few lunch request,s . I hope he goes well , ill let you know when we have tried it next week cheers
We tried Andy’s Golden Grill last night. Met ALEX (Neil) and his lovely wife Flor who were also dining there. My wife and I each had a delicious tender Angus Rib Eye steak while Neil and Flor had the Ribs. High price but higher quality. Interesting, Andy charges by the 100gr. Most amazing is the location. Amazing and a big surprise to us because Andy built a large outdoor restaurant on the lot of a small rental house my wife and I rented in early 2010 while our house was being built. So the location is not good and parking is bad but the food very good. Btw, a full house at 7pm, locals and foreigners. Recommended if you want a good grilled rib eye steak and not wanting to drive into town.
