LTO-7 now prints the new licenses

Cebu - The Land Transportation Office of the Central Visayas has started in his Cebu City and Mandaue City driver's license points, to print with the new driver's license card. The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) had selected the company as its new supplier of Allcard Plastics Machinery for printing the licenses. However, due to delivery problems of Allcard Plastics led to bottlenecks. The LTO-7 director Arnel Tancinco says that the two driver's license points now midweek after office hours, and on Saturday the new licenses prints. The LTO-7 is currently with the print of 22,000 licenses in arrears, of which the majority of Cebu is. According to the DOTC is a nationwide backlog of 900,000 driving licenses which have not yet been printed. KR 08/27/2015 - 4:30

My Philippines driver's license has now expired, but since half the Filipino drivers around here don't have a license either, I have just put off renewing mine ... I am moving back to the US in late November, so I am not even going to worry about it.

I am thinking that my car license plate tags / OR are out of date too, but that's just something else I have lost interest in.

I should not have an attitude like this, but the longer I live here, the less I really care about stuff like this.

Thanks for the update. That's pretty expensive. I usually pay 800-1500 depending on the bike. How long was the CR overdue?

Still sounds kind of expensive for a 1 year vehicle registration. It's been a long time since I've registered a car or truck though.

My pickup was around the same price when I did it in February, the bike was around p1700 which included p100 for change of venue and was a couple month late and was not fined.

No wonder most of the locals drive motorcycles (or don't keep up with their registrations) . That's a relatively large percentage of their yearly income.
