I fun game to keep your mind working is to look at the MC plates around town. Remember the sticker date represents the year of purchase, not the year the sticker goes out. You will find many motorcycles around Dumaguete with stickers going back to 2008, some have no date sticker at all. Of coarse it is difficult for the LTO officers to see the stickers when their mind in on the cock training at the public market , or waving to their friends here while they are suppose to be doing their jobs.

Yes, if you already have plates and just need updated stickers it is unfortunately very normal. As long as you have your registration up to date and stamped either/both no plate or no stickers available you are all set and don't worry about it. It's the LTO's problem for not having the stickers or plates not yours.

Well after only two years I finally got a call from the dealership asking for a copy of the bike papers so the lto can locate my plate so not bad for them I suppose.
Saying that I don't actually have the plate yet so could just be a bluff

Question: What about the annual registration amount. I know that RUSI is supposed to pay for one year's registration so I do not care if it takes them a year to get me my plate, but after a year is up did you go in and pay registration even when you did not yet have a plate?

Yes you need to renew the registration every year even if you don't have the plates.
