If you continue with this kind of posts I will have to lower you on my like chart, it's kind of sick that you could imagine a scene like you describe, being the stallion in a ocean of carnage...
A horrible and senseless tragedy and terrible loss of children, researchers, and others. May they rest in peace. Sure casts a dark cloud over Malaysian Airlines and Russia.
Yep , Agree on that Pat , a lot of the passengers , I think well over 100 or so , were actually heading to where I am right now . I see in the news that some of the initial investigation team have been fired on , sort of really brings home , the complete daft mentality that lays ahead in this tragedy , you could have photographic evidence , but it will still be denied , lets hope that they are not just busy separating the copper from the aluminium etc , instead of preserving what may be "left" for some of the families .
And so the mandatory cover up , it wasn't us , begins , see link below Stolen missile launcher reportedly caught on video
I'm a creative person, I can imagine anything. It's the human condition. We were granted free will and that free will travels. Without it, we wouldn't be human. We all have our ways in which we contribute to the forum. My contribution is my own flavor of humor. I feel humor is necessary to diffuse tension in a difficult world. Meaningful humor requires that we find boundaries and push them. Necessarily, we will sometimes overshoot and offend people. To be afraid to do so would mean that we shouldn't even try in the first place (much like the business posts, don't fear failure.) I apologize and I would delete the post if I could.
Thought I would have to add this so , Vicmico , could read it , cnn Saturday night , reported that 75 other airlines were using the same flight path , that is airlines not airplanes , so hundreds of other aircraft , were using the same flight path until the tragedy , so it could have happened to 74 other company's , which to my mind makes the relevant authority who deemed it ok absolutely incompetent , and to say they needed to be recalibrated would be an understatement . Tony
Thanks Tony, my sentiments exactly. Add to this that the original flightplan of Malaysian reflected an overfly altitude of 35000ft (which was changed by the Ukranian flight controllers upon entering their airspace for whatever reason), and the picture of incompetence, ignorance or greed (by saving fuel) changes drasticly. I understand that even that altitude would not have spared the almost 300 lives, but it puts the blame squarely where it belongs: The authorities that issue the rules / guidelines and (not in the least) the rats that pushed the button..... Sometimes we laugh when we mean to cry, othertimes we cry because we are happy, emotions change as we get older too. Dude, I was just reading a passage from word . A US General was travelling on a plane in civilain clothes, he sat down next to a young army private who didn't recognize him. Since we are going to be together for a while it would be nice if we got to know each other,My guess is you are a banker. Not wishing to seem rude, but needing to finish his paperwork, Bradley replied, No, I'm General Omar Bradley, five star general in the US Army. I head up the joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon in Wasington DC. Without missing a beat the young private replied, "Well, sir that's a very important job, and I sure hope you don't blow it!" So Dude, your apologises accepted, sometimes if we didn't laugh we would cry our eyes out...JB My condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones, may they rest in peace. my thanks to Word for Today that keeps me sane in a terrible world.
Why are so many countries calling on the U.S. to put stronger sanctions on Russia? The U.S. economy (like my former company) is being negatively impacted by the current sanctions, while the European countries, who do a lot of business with Russia, have much lighter countries. U.S., mind your own business, for once.
