    I've heard such bad things about Bali as well before I was there and I'd say it has gotten better - been driving around the island on a rented bike for a week in 2013 and again last year without being stopped once.

    I think they are only enforcing the kids on bikes law on the national highway.

    I meant;
    Hide until you see 100+ Bikes piling up either side of the first check point, then block the Highway each side the riders trapping them in between, that way 2x Check points backing up the original first check point, but what is the point, here you would then need another two to head off those dodging the outer two check points, and the point is; it would be, well; POINTLESS wouldn't it... :arghh: :banghead:

    Assuming you have air conditioning in your car, the tint reflects the sunlight and keeps the inside cooler.
    In Canada I had tinted film installed over the south facing windows of my house for the same reason. Anyone know who installs tinted film on house windows here?

    Back in May, the Senate has approved on its final reading SBN 3211, or the Anti-Distracted Driving Act. Now a law, it is now assigned as Republic Act No. 10913.
    According to the new law, distracted driving refers to the performance by a motorist of any of the following acts in a motor vehicle in motion or temporarily stopped at a red light.

    • Using an electronic entertainment or computing device to play games, watch movies, surf the internet, compose messages, read e-books, perform calculations, and other similar acts.
    However, it is not considered as distracted driving if you’re not holding the mobile device like when in hands-free function, using the speaker phone, earphones and microphones. Provided, that the placement of the mobile device or hands-free device does not interfere with the line of sight of the driver.
