At 2.6-2.7 M pesos. That's around the same cost to build a 100 sqm. While it is true that there's no need for lots of clothing storage since it's hot all year round, I think this may only attract those who haven't experienced living in apartments. I still remember my mother's reaction when she visited me here in Japan. "This is it?" (translated literally and more of pity than surprise).

I can picture people throwing their garbage out the window because they don't have room for a garbage can.

The bathroom, half the size of a:

I imagine these "apartments" would feel a lot like living in what I live in right now in Afghanistan (a shipping container). To each their own but I can't live like that without being paid to do so.

I've lived in holiday trailers back home that were smaller (8 ft x 26 ft trailer = about 20 sq m and its fine when rv'ing in the nice weather) so its all about the individual, how much space they really need and what they will use it for. Smaller space means less cleaning and cheaper to air condition. I 'lived' in hotel rooms most of my working career and if its just a place to sleep and furnicate then its all you need. Much different if you spend all your time indoors with hobbies and stuff but I could still be quite comfortable in a hotel room of about 25 sq meters if its set up right.

A trailer/RV like back in the States would be a luxurious lifestyle here. My bedroom is a about 9ft x 6ft. No kitchen, bathroom or shower, those are a 1km drive from my room.

My parents had a pop-up camper when I was a kid and we would go camping in the summer in that. I enjoyed that...and would love to have one of those here.

I wouldn't have a problem living in something the size of the condo shown in this thread if it were a holiday or a few months it off the year...but I couldn't ever bring myself to drop the amount of cash they are asking for to make it a primary living space. But obviously there are people willing to live in such small spaces. More power to them if they are satisfied and happy with that.

As a studio or like a hotel room, it's livable, but as a 2 bedroom....hmmm.
It's like living in a box.

    I loved the 80's.
