⌛ Any one treated at VA clinic in Manila

Just wondering,I registered at VA Manila and was told only service connected conditions are treated,so I qualify but have never needed to go for treatment and wonder if any one has been treated there for general conditions in addition to their service connected condition? At home I get treated for any condition just for qualifying as service connected..Do they out source local docs. per region to save transportation hassle??

 

Yes, I have and in my opinion The V.A. Manila is nothing short of a freaking JOKE. The Doc. dose not listen or her English skills are insufficient. I think it is her English skills. But then, I was use to being treated at the Anchorage V.A. which is one of the best in the US. If you would like to know more just email me or PM me.

 

Thanks man I'm not surprised,I could have just asked there or over internet site or called but back in Feb. I went in person and registered and liked seeing many philippinas employed at American Govt.department,but the culture and language barrier got them confused listening to me and me listening to them,,Also I think they arent allowed to tell as much truth as you are here so thats why I thought I'd get better info from someone who went through their grinder first..Thanks I would like to know more .My main concern is can I get treated for any thing like other VA hospitals for 100%service connected??Things that happened to get me sick in the philippines other than what I was rated for service connected??Just for emergency bad cases where any treatment would be better than none,would they out source to doctors in dumaguete?they do out source in hawaii..:o
