As for mirrors, perhaps a document on the purpose of mirrors and how to use them is necessary for some (most).

Yes, I was violating a traffic law... precisely that... did you hear me complain about being fined and attending a driving seminar? NO ... I am only wanting to bring this administrative order to light apparently because most of the driving/riding public do not know about this AO... and maybe, just maybe, people in LTO will have an idea on how to disseminate traffic updates? way back 2000, I have been driving my bike.. This AO was signed 2008... 4 years ago apparently... I would have already known about this AO if this was published in the newspaper or even their website... I do not want to sound bitter after being apprehended.. but knowledge will surely help of us. It is a boomerang effect. If people in authority will educate those applying for driver’s license correctly, then they go out to the streets more aware..; thus, being more responsible.

 

I've been riding a motorcycle almost all my life, and to ride on the road without a mirror to check behind me makes me very, very uncomfortable.

I don't like surprises on the road.

 

The same here with the only difference that I always drive/drove with only one mirror on the left side, it irritates me to have two images to watch, I prefer to drive faster than anybody else so I don't need to watch my back to much and concentrate on the traffic aheade...

 

until the day you will find your Waterloo, which hopefully for you never comes.

When you buy a motorcycle here it comes with mirrors, red tail and brake lights, yellow or orange signal lights, a quiet muffler, white headlight.. Why would the manufacturer do that if it wasn't required by law.. if you haven't figured this out so far then i guess you should just walk hopefully you won't trip over and fall on your face as obviously you have no connection with your brain and the rest of your body.O-|

 

what is wrong with you andiflip? why do you have to be so mean? of course I know what the purpose of the side mirror is.... why would you say that im that stupid obviously I have no connection with my brain? gosh! look who is talking? if you are that high and mighty, why are you here in my island spending your money with local putas?

the main point of the thread was to post the Administrative Order... and if you know how to read, then you would be able to understand, that I AM NOT COMPLAINING... it is just there should be proper information dissemination on all these AOs.. GOT THAT?!!!
