Found apple cider vinegar at Robinsons grocery day before Christmas...

 

Got some from there 4 days ago , what does (with the mother ) on the bottle mean?

What is the ‘Mother’?
The ‘Mother’ is essentially enzymes, a natural substance created during the fermentation process of ACV. It appears as a cob-web like formation floating in the vinegar. The ‘mother’ is alive and is made up from bacteria, enzymes and living nutrients. Many brands of ACV remove this formation, as to many it would appear that something is wrong with the vinegar. The presence of the mother shows that the vinegar has not been processed or filtered.

here goes:

Mother (Or Mother of Vinegar)= The enzyme that settles at the bottom of the bottle, and part of the normal production process with natural apple cider vinegar. Supposedly, Hippocrates used cider vinegar with the mother to treat his patients, and it's supposed to have internal cleansing and healing properties.

The mother is made up of the yeasts and fermentation byproducts that are produced when the cider ferments to vinegar, and you should shake the bottle up to evenly distribute it before you use it. The big commercial companies filter it out, because it makes the vinegar look like it's growing something!

They did have some a month ago or so and we all snatched up as much as we could. Try sending alex a PM (Private Message) he had some extra before. If no luck PM me I may be able to help.

 

Was at BI today and tried Lee's Plaza again. Success! Bragg's ACV with mother and Ginger - 16oz for P131. They also had with Lemon, and with Truvia. The only ACV with nothing added was also filtered (no mother).
