ATM in Robinsons didn't give me cash the 2nd WDl but it was taken from my US ac

Stopped as usual at the ATM by Greenwich Sunday, but could only withdraw once, getting a transaction cannot be completed

Looking online my US account I see it's showing 2 withdrawls for Sunday

What's the chance of getting whichever bank runs that thing to pay me back? Are the monies paid vs transactions records/

Just checking before I head to Robs offices upstairs. I won't be using the ATM again

 

Maybe all is okay, I called my cc company and they see things in real time where my brokerage account plays catch up a few days later.

I definitely keep an eye on it...

 

When you do a withdrawal a reservation is first made to verify you have funds. After issuing the money a confirmation is sent.
The reservation will show up as reserved, but as there is no confirmation the reservation will be removed after a few days.

 

I do know a guy who used an ATM in either MNL or Cebu airport without covering his hand as he input his PIN

The scammers somehow got his info, maybe with something slid in the slot, and withdrew 4000USD from the Dgte China Bank ATM at Lee Plaza!

I just talked to him again about this morning

The security official at his US bank did NOT know anything about the skimmers or hidden cameras that watch what you are doing at an ATM. Now that's hard to believe

Cover the keyboard when you use an ATM !

 

This happened to me also on a few occations. However each time the money was transferred back to my danish account again after a few banking days, and I did not have to do anything.
