Alex I agree with you sentiments about choosing Friends Unfortunately, the issue of Visa Requirements/Vetting will as in a Lot of cases just mean that the Majority will have to pay for the Idiotic misconduct of the tiny Minority. For me, I would see anyone released from Prison have the Passport Stamped as such ie; Ex Offender or on Parole. although to me Parolees should never have a Passport, that defeats the object of Parole But then, we would having the PC Brigade and the HR mob shouting but they have paid their due for the Crime. Well in this case, the rehabilitation has not worked ever if you look at the Guys reported Past.
I am sure he would never have got in to the US or the UK as there are vetting procedures But...................
