My wife has started making bagels. They're actually pretty good. They're a bit heavier than the ones I'm used to in the States, but I like them better. So far, she's only made plain ones with white flour. We're curious if enough other folks here like bagels that it might be a little business for her. They would cost about P35 each for one that is about 4 1/2 to 5 inches in diameter. It's a little pricey. But they're not cheap to make. I guess we could work out some kind of delivery arrangement for you.

I think there was another guy who was making them a few months ago, but he apparently moved to Dauin, so they're not readily available in Dgte, now.

It's been the only thing missing. Plenty of salmon and cream cheese available. I'll be a regular customer.

I will try, prefer sesame or whole grain or wheat, will you top the white flour ones with something?

Hmm. More interest than I anticipated....

Not a lot of response, but still, considering the price we're asking............. And that may come down a bit after a while.

We're thinking maybe making them just a couple times a week, and making them to order. Whole wheat is no problem. Toppings? What did you have in mind? We're new at this, so there will be a bit of a learning curve.

Maybe two varieties per week so you don't get totally bored with the flavor??

If you would like a free sample before actually placing an order, please email me at: greberting@yahoo.com I rather suspect samples will be basic white wheat flour. Or, if the majority prefer whole wheat, we will try that instead.

And you're right, lot's of salmon and cream cheese available. I even saw Philadelphia cream cheese the other day. (Don't buy Magnolia cream cheese spread. It's gross.)

My favorite bagels are cinnamon raisin, multi-grain, and sesame covered. Maybe you can have a drop off point like Robinson's or somewhere. Good luck.

Thanks for all the support, folks. We're still a few days away from being able to provide a quality product. But I think we're getting close.

The suggestion of using a central drop off spot is a good idea. A local lettuce producer drops his product off a couple times a week in the morning at McDonalds. We'll let you know when we're ready to serve you!
