I must be the luckiest guy in Dumaguete, living in a subdivision that I often compare to an oasis of quiet with no streetdogs, no neighbours with loud dogs either, no roosters nearby, no pigs or chicken farm, main road just far enough away that we only hear the occasional big bike with a rider that wants his presence to be known far and wide. Of course there is the occasional karaoke party, but even those are rather modest in both duration and volume.
