Dear Administrator, and the rest of regular contributor. A big thank you, for allowing us locals, balikbayans, and tourist coming to Dumaguete to use this site as a medium of exchange. Just to mentioned a few, Dude, Rhoody, Stephen, etc you guys are funny. I've been amused by some of your responses yet you are so helpful to those who seek information. Pax nun bellum, Tagay(buttoms up) Jose
Josephen, Include Guhang. I know that Tuba was Lapu-lapu's favorite drink until Magellan showed up. Somebody told me that Magellan was bootlegging, and they ended up fighting because to the Tuba trade. Pax nun bellum(peace not war), Tagay Jose
HAHA - yes, Guhang. I remember during my childhood days (looooooong time ago, haha) when our neighbor did his TUK-TOK (the strike when he cleaned his bamboo collector with the coconut brush and strike them against the coconut palms to free them from the residues) up on the tree during his gathering. Oh I miss the sound of it! @jackpeterson Do not know if that is Tagalog or Latin? When we did our JACKstone games when we were little we also say 'PAX', we just did it, and now looking back at it, not a clue why we did it...haha.
Pax nun bellum is latin=peace not war. I just like to say that because it makes sense. Tagay is bisaya=pour the drink to your glass, usually tuba or guhang, and bottoms up.
