I know it is not funny but the only way is to reduce/ limit the Speeds of these things Sorry if this offends some but it is the Speed as well as Idiotic Drivers. JP
Happened around 9:15pm at Masaplod Sur, Dauin a few hundred meters from Bahura. Head on collision between Ceres #7624 and a gray mitsubishi adventure. All passengers of ceres are okay but the occupants of the Adventure were a Father and teenagers daughter with the family name of "Cang", probably a Chinese family as the daughter was speaking English. The daughter had a head injury but was concious. The father sustained the most injury with heavy bleeding but still breathing. Apparently the adventure came from Cebu and were headed for Santa Catalina. Within 30 minutes father and daughter were in the Ambulance. The Ambulance and Police arrived in less than 5 minutes.
Agreed but if I may I believe the main problem as far as I know is the drivers are paid based on how many paid customers they have per route and how many routes they complete per shift. Hence the drivers want to maximize their pay by cramming as many passengers as possible on board and arriving at destination as quickly as possible. Safety be damned. If the Bus companies would pay the drivers a living wage and stop all the silly incentives for pay the safety would inherently follow IMHO.
Ceres gidam agan sa Southern Mindanao nga panel near church sa Bonawon,Siaton ceres bus was hit by southern mindanao delivery truck.Looks like the truck tried to pass on the yellow lines i hope no one was hurt
