Well here goes. Red Cross has A positive but it's 2 weeks old and Nev's Doctor says it can't be over 1 week even tho it's good for 3 to 6 weeks in the U.S. For Shawn, they don't have A negative but they gave me the number of a donor that I have sent to Cherry. THEY BOTH STILL NEED BLOOD...... Ron
Talk about strange. Philippine Red Cross website says the age to donate is between 16 and 65 while a friend at Holy child was just told the maximum age to donate is 42.....
Has anyone tried going straight to the Red Cross in Dumaguete to donate blood instead of to the hospitals? Maybe they could help with getting the blood to the people that need it. https://www.facebook.com/pg/prcnegrosoriental/about/?ref=page_internal Optimistic I know, but might be worth a try.
Hello All...much thanks to everyone, especially the folks that came down for blood screening and those that donated. I was released from the hospital last night, feeling much better and with a bunch of meds to take. There are still more follow up tests I need to get done, but will take care of that once I get to Korea and am around US military hospitals. I will hopefully be flying out of here in the next week, still need to work out those details with the new company. Thanks again, Shawn
