Maybe the Code for the overseas bank is what you need. My advice, go to the bank tomorrow and get the help you need.

email the bank? In the Philippines? Please post if and when they reply and if it is from an actual person and not just an automated response. Also if they were able to solve your problem without you going to the branch where you opened the account. That would be some useful information as I have yet had any success with email inquiries to our bank or any other establishment here.

Are you trying to do a wire transfer? If that is the case all you need is SWIFT code and the account name and number and the branch location. The code given by Torilian is correct SWIFT code: BOPIPHMM.

If your doing something like paypal then you need a different code.

    Regards,

    Yolly

Those codes are for PayPal. There are also codes for local bank transfers. International wire transfers to the Philippines should only need the SWIFT code. We have online banking set up for that and that is all that was needed. If cliffdips' bank is asking for something else, he needs to contact his bank and ask just what it is.

He said he tried using the SWIFT code, but apparently that isn't what he needs. He said he needs the bank code. This website has a list of bank codes for using on any online payment method (not just Paypal). He has sent an email to BPI so hopefully he can get what he needs from them.
