Try taking money from a Scotsman. Not a chance. I would just hand over the money but I don't carry any with me at all times.

Scot gets shot for being an *sshole. Makes up story about getting robbed as an excuse for having no money at the hospital.

Wedding called off now that the Filipina knows how broke her fiance is.

If he wasn't broke before, for sure he's broke now.

This dude doesn't need love, he needs money. He doesn't need to get a wife, he needs to get a job. Before he gets married, he needs to grow up.

At 44 years old his earning window is nearly closed, and he's jacking around in the Philippines with no money.

How does someone think to go through the significant effort of getting married without going through the much more simple effort of getting health insurance.

Life insurance and / or any other plans for the future wife is probably out as well.

Maybe he's getting married so he can bring his wife to the UK so they can both earn. But what kind of life would you have in the UK with a husband who can't get his **** together at 44?

Maybe the above isn't true of this guy, but it's true of many others.

Okay, that article was as boneheaded as the last one. I did open it and read it. I almost didn't get past all the boobies flashing at the top, so I can see why you picked this one out. If I didn't learn anything else from this article, I did find that Carole Bouquet did some x-rated scenes. Thanks for pointing this out.

This is one side of the story, and horribly told. Maybe the foreigner owed the guy some money and came up with some BS excuse.

I'm also confused. Did he refuse to give the wallet and then got shot? Did he get shot and the robber picked up the wallet? Did he give the wallet, then refused, and then got shot?

Just sayin'. There are travel warnings to this country all the time. Half the country is under martial law because frickin' ISIS has taken over a city. 7 dudes just got taken out in an ambush North of us.

Getting married? Might be a good idea to have health, life and ba*s*it crazy people insurance. If you have to crowdfund your stay in the hospital, you are kind of **cked.

So, apparently the guy was fighting for his last 500 pesos, which makes sense for taking a bullet. It was a valiant effort to save that money, but apparently he still lost it in the end.

Personally. I don't pay the bullets to come home with me. I pay them to stay in the chamber.

But I'm generally a nice guy. A gun and a need, and I'm very giving. Others aren't so much.

Edit: Also, he's a nagger. Them d*mn naggers are always getting shot wherever they go.

You missed the part where the friend was also at gunpoint but the robber didn't want his wallet also?

I did notice that. Can you explain further? Does that jack up my argument? What's your theory? Do we need to construct a new joke?

Maybe he realized his soon to be fiance sucked him down to his last 500 pesos and he asked the guy to shoot him? Maybe the 500 pesos was just a service fee?

The Scotsman shot in the chest by robbers just hours before his wedding in Talisay City last month has finally tied the knot.
As we previously reported, Tarek Naggar was lucky to survive when he was shot at point-blank range by motorcycle-riding thieves, who made off with just 500 pesos.

His survival after the attack early on Thursday, July 22, was all the more remarkable as an ambulance failed to turn up and he had to be taken to hospital on a trike.

According to doctors, the bullet ricocheted off the 44-year-old’s ribs, missing his heart by millimetres and ending up in a lung.

Following nine days of treatment the joiner from Glasgow was released from hospital — but only after he had paid his bill in full.
