Fact or fiction?

I remember historically the English shipped a lot of English people to Australia, but I can not remember how they decided how to chose who to go. Any Help?

I think some may have tried to swim home but only made to Dumaguete.

 

Well Dave, it was Broadsides Bobby that caught a villain and a biased Judge, who sent them down Under (as we call Australia in the UK) after conviction.

All joking aside though, Australia was, Britain's Penal Colony for a long time, So I guess it really is our own Fault. That they (The Australians) see us, as they Do .

 

Thanks for the information. It also seems to explain another little part of trivial to me. I always understood what a "French" kiss using the tongue on the facial lips), but did not understand the term "Australian" kiss until you explained the term "down under."
