    I think you will find that the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines is not NORECO, who were just passing the message along. But if it makes you feel better to blame the messenger then just jump on the bandwagon.

    I made an google alert for Noreco Facebook.com "ADVISORY FROM THE NATIONAL GRID CORPORATION OF THE PHILIPPINES"
    You set up an alert her Google Alerts - Monitor the Web for interesting new content

    This way i should get an email when they post something about blackouts or cancellations

    It usually is the other way around. NGC is usually not the cause of brownouts. Almost always an infrastructure issue in the Philippines, not a power production issue.
