    DavyL....
does Noreco send out updates automatically or does a person have to go to the site and see for himself?

    thanks...

When that happens, and it did here too, I picture in my head some guy at a relay station turning off unit one and turning on unit two. The 5-10 min outage makes that about right. Tonight I had enough buffer on Youtube my UPS kept the TV on and the laptop charged so I was able to continue watching without interruption. I am sure the neighbor was confused.

probably no notices cuz it's the holidaze and it's time to party.

well... i think i signed up but after entering my personal info, it asked me to send them a (cell) load so i closed out. verrrry confusing!!! no confirmations, welcomes etc.

so as i was jumping thru the registration hoops, i thot i saw something that suggested a person can pay their power bill thru Budgetload Community but i couldn't find that option in the app(lication)

instructions for signing up are here:
    http://www.yesfmgoogle.com/importan...ity-mobile-application-for-noreco-ii-updates/

for service outage alerts, noreco could simply do a yahoo discussion group (broadcast option) and send out notices. anyone wanting to get the notices could join the group and or opt out w/o noreco having to do anything other than send out notices and it wouldn't cost them anything or any moderation since no one could post cept for noreco.
