    Similarly, I bought three bottles of US cabernet sauvignon (bottom shelf in the US) here on sale half price.
    Too good to be true. I didn't check the year on the wine (2014). Turns out the wine was bad. Cheaper US red wine only ages well for a few years, certainly not 14. Waste of money.
    Age is important with wine and women.

    A quick search shows them to be similar to other brassicas that need cooler weather to have a better flavor and grow properly. I'm sure they could be grown up in the mountains where cabbage is grown. I doubt putting some seeds in the ground would do well, even with shade cloth at the lower elevations. I may pick up seeds and try them in my aquaponics set-up to see if they will grow...curious, maybe a misting system as well.

    The problem with buying frozen goods here is that the majority of suppliers turn off their freezers overnight and veg is particularly susceptible to rotting after a couple of times. I always dig to the bottom (or back) of the freezer as these have more chance of still being in reasonable condition.
