I grew up on pizza from places like Pizza Hut and Papa John's and that's what I'm searching for. The pizza I like from these places are loaded with sauce, they have good cheese and a medium thickness. There is nothing close to that here. The closest to my preference is the Shakey's Belly Buster. However, the crust tends to be tough and tastes like cardboard if it isn't right out of the oven. When I get takeout, the crust can give my jaw quite a workout. The mall location nicely done and the service is good. Shakey's can get expensive if you take the family and don't watch what people are ordering. Last time I took four adults and one child there I racked up a bill of $80. The only salad I eat in this town is the Shakey's garden(?) salad. That's because of the blue cheese and olives though. Garcia's is good for pizza and a draft beer (one of only two places that serves draft in this town.) The place was put together really well also. The passion the owner puts into the place shows in everything they do. Because I can't find the type of pizza I like here, the next best thing is to go unique. My favorite pizza in this town in the Hot Mama at Hayahay, there is nothing like it anywhere else. The only problem is that the Hot Mama gives me the shits later that day and the next morning. It must be the peppers because it's pretty d*mn consistent and the other pizzas at Highahay don't do that to me. It's a price I'm willing to pay though! I love the view at Hayahay, but the service is lacking. At mid-day there seems to be only one waitress working to serve the two tree house seating areas and the general seating area. Every time I go there early in the day I order my pizza directly from the cooks and my drinks directly from the bar. I then have to chase down the waittress to pay my bill.
