Hope some of you were able to attend the Casablanca celebration tonight, great buffet, fantastic live music, and saw many friends there among the large crowd.

Didn't now there was one until too late. Rhoody posted at 4:32 that there was P10 beer until 5. Seems he didn't want them to run out early.

:confused:If I had been in Dgte of course we would have come, Pat, can I ask, what the Celebration was about? Did I miss something? Gunther's Birthday? Anniversary? or just a Celebration. OH! I don't like this away thing, I miss out so much :(

Jack, sorry you missed a nice event - buffet, live music, lots of people. The event was for the one year anniversary of Casablanca opening on the blvd and the one year anniversary of the culinary school. Rhoody posted a better description of the event.

I and a number of other regulars at Casa Blanca were there early in the afternoon. Sorry we offended you. Most of us had moved down to Why Not before you arrived rather than suck up Gunther's 10 peso drinks.
Ask around before you shoot your mouth.

JP, nope... it was exactly meant that way. seeing certain faces (you'll never see there normally) waving 40 Peso at five to five just to get 4 more beer into their already hammered brain or complaining already drunk if missing the "deadline" a few minutes is simply disgusting ... (both happened at CB)

and like one rotten ingredient ruins the whole dish, those individuals ruin a nice celebration. That's why I went there later (seeing the last few trying to walk away more or less successful), to look at bright and happy smiles of the 1st Batch finishing the "chef de cuisine" after 1 year hard work and study, listening to a great live-band (even a bit loud) and talk to some great people I enjoy being with and talking to...

Kenny, if you count yourself as a regular CB customer to the "10 Peso" crew ... well up to you, won't argue with that...

    OooooooooooopS! Wrong Again!

 Had I have been in Dgte, we would have gone with the later crowd anyway, not only did I miss the 10p beer, Sounds like I missed out on a good night. That's me, seems always to be, in the Wrong place, say the Wrong thing to the Wrong people. Maybe I might have got the right time though :D
Anway, Well Done CB all all connected.
