I had both eyes done last year at Holy Child Eye Center with Dr. Flores. Happy with results.

I also went to ACE for a routine check-up and was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. Was given a quote similar to cabb and told to go back in 6 months, when it would be likely surgery would need to be scheduled. Also had the feeling it was a little expensive.

A while later I went to Dr Lorenzo N Vera Cruz at Polymedic Hospital Sibulan for second opinion. His view was that surgery and lens replacement was not necessary at this time and, given my age, may never be necessary in my lifetime. No hard sell. Explained all the pros and cons of single or multi-focal replacement lenses. Ball park cost was a bit less than ACE. Was very impressed with his knowledge and honesty, but obviously cannot speak for results.

About 60K per eye, 3K for extras like LenStar eye measurements, etc.

I only paid 47k for one eye at Holy-Child. Dr Cinko. But that was with Phil-health reduction.
    Highly recommenced.

Interesting coincidence that my father in law got the same 6 month return suggestion.

Had one eye done last week on Tuesday in Holy Child Hospital by Dr. Cinco. Package deal 65k so including the eye drops. First check next day on Wednesday, Polymedic Hospital was 350 peso. Have to come back again next week Wednesday. Remarkable, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sight of left eye significant completely better than my right eye, however today left eye somewhat blurry. Don't know if this is a normal reaction.

Shouldn't be blurry. I did notice at night time, lights looked like they had a beam going through them but they went away with time. Tell the Dr about the blurry eye next time you see him.

Bit confused by the 350 pesos at Polymedic - was this 350k for both eyes.

Also, was the 65k at HC for both eyes - you mention the difference in them post-operatively. But I thought surgery would be done on only one eye at a time (doing both is very risky).
