    I wear long pants from time to time and certainly when making a long trip on a bike. It's just stupid not to. Also I rarely stop for them.....only when low on gas or on one of my smaller bikes.

    As long as you aren't a complete @ss at a checkpoint you won't have any problems in shorts and flip flops. Unless you get a fuckwad officer like I did.

    I don't get how they ride with flip flops... they've never had to put their foot down or been in a wreck.. they haven't experienced road rash... yet... lol
