MANILA, Philippines – Two women have been arrested for leading a child pornography syndicate involving the likes of American national Michael Carey Clemans, a known pedophile who was arrested earlier this year headed to the Philippines. Arrested in the syndicate were Lyan Tandeg and Shellina Atad – the two will be charged with qualified trafficking and syndicated child pornography before the Department of Justice. Both have been formerly charged on November 5th, both are currently detained at NBI jail. Officials say that the girls found in the possession of the two women ranged in age from 8-years-old to 11-years-old. Police say that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation tipped them off on the illegal operation after connecting them together with American pilot Michael Carey Clemans. Clemans was arrested in San Francisco as he attempted to board a plane heading back to the Philippines – Clemans iPad had over 100 child pornographic images, many from the Philippines. Clemans had been in trouble in the past and was under watch by the FBI, he was arrested on April 27th of this year at San Francisco International Airport. Police say an initial investigation came from those 100 images as many of them included children from this country. The FBI also sent a copy of a Yahoo Messenger conversation between Clemans and Tandeg that showed proof of child prostitution and child pornography. NBI agents monitored the two women and found them photographing girls in the nude, as well as offering the young children for sex with foreigners for 3,000 pesos a night. Undercover agent asked Tandeg and her accomplices to bring one girl with them when they met at a coffee shop in a sting operation in Angeles City, Pamapanga on November 4th. The two women were formally arrested after turning over a flash drive with nude photos of the girls in exchange for 500 pesos. NBI then rescued three girls after the sting and turned them over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development and International Justice Mission (a non-government human rights group). “We interviewed the parents of the victims and they said that they thought that the suspects were recruiting their children as models,” NBI stated. Tandeg’s one accomplice, her boyfriend, was at the coffee shop sting operation but escaped when agents moved in for the arrest.

Labor is cheap in the Philippines? That's only about 1k more than a normal "bar fine" in Angeles....yet cheaper than some of "top shelf" bar fines at some of the "high end" girly bars. These prices are probably why the Philippines is such a popular destination for pedophiles. Suuuure you did. And you didn't even think to escort your child to these supposed "model photo shoots". Just let some stranger take your kid because they were looking for "models". The parents need to be held accountable for their blatant p*ss poor parenting and/or participation in this child pornagrophy ring!
