For some of those perverts, drowning is the easy way out. I would rather see death by booga booga.

 

If i faced a life time in a jail here i would jump over board ,also if i was very sick and in lots pain i would the same

 

I know this sounds rough, but if this fellow chose to go overboard, and once in the water, then there's not a lot that could be done to recover him alive.

But I do wonder just how much of an eye the guards had on him. I wonder how he got away from the guard's eyes of observation?

If he did this of his own volition, I hope his guards are more careful in the future as I wouldn't want a really bad guy surviving a jump and making his way back into society to re-offend or worse....

Swiss National Inmate Jumps to His Death From Ship in Cebu


CEBU CITY, Philippines – A Swiss national who was facing three cases of human trafficking, abuse, and possession of child pornography has jumped to his death while on-board a ship after his court hearing on Monday.

67-year-old Walter Hauck, a divorcee who formerly lived in Thailand was attending a hearing on his case before the Regional Trial Court in Bogo City on Monday – he was on his way back to Sta. Fe on-board LCT Island II of Island Shipping Lines when he jumped from the ship.

A police investigation into the incident showed that Hauck asked for permission to go to the CR – his escorts, both jail officers of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, said that the suspect jumped into the sea at 2:50 p.m. approximately one mile from Sta. Fe.

Hauck’s body was recovered and taken to Bantayan District Hospital – he was handcuffed when he jumped.

The Swiss national was originally arrested by NBI agents in 2015 after he was accused of molesting five minor boys in a pension house in Sta. Fe.
