City Waste. ( waste of Breath!)

That Albundy may not like my post about leaving my tray at McDo's doesn't really bother me. I would however like to point out that it is a considered action and not laziness. I'm 48 and I have been aware of the term "Breaking a man's rice bowl" and it's meaning for about 40 of those years. I actually got some dirty looks from restaurant staff when I was in Manila for bussing and cleaning my own table. Someone else here got some dirty looks and muttering for helping to unload a truck with his building supplies on it. I don't throw crap on the ground but it's inconspicuous that I stuff it into a bellows pocket or into a bag with my purchases. It stands out as a sore thumb if I buss my table and toss my trash and you are instantly the outsider who probably looks down on the locals. A person from the US would be termed an "Ugly American" for showing up the locals. Sure I see locals doing things dumber than a box of rocks but unless it directly inconveniences me personally, I am not going to let out a peep. I got on a plane to come to the Philippines and there are planes leaving almost every day. I do know that if the trash really bothers you, you won't have a happy time here. Good luck with that.

i dont care how people look at me if i clean up , i not do this to make myself superiore toward locals
i just do this cuz i been brought up this way , doesnt ment just cuz im here ,i need to adapt on this.
if people sh*t on the street ,dont mean i need to sh*t there too
