Dumaguete can do that all on its own. I don't have to say anything about the city to deter a significant number of people away from it.
I think I've said that before in jest. It is certainly an option for some people. Personally, there isn't enough nightlife in Bayawan for my taste.
The biggest problem in bayawan is the lack of rental properties.
When Dumaguete is a city Bayawan is a sleepy town, if you enjoy sitting on a bench and watch people pass by, then it's the right place for you, not much pollution even electric trikes, and maybe in future, they even open a Jollibee lol

Oh, it's you coming to Dumaguete? You should change the title of the thread to reflect that. "I'm coming to Dumaguete." I was excited there for a moment. Like maybe the circus was coming to town or something.
