Welcome aboard. There is a lively little expat community in Bacong - just South on the National Highway approx. 10 mins. BEST restaurant in Negros is there as well. PJ's. Have the lasagne, you won't be disappointed.
I have lived in Davao for 2 years, and whoever said that the traffic in Davao is OK is talking out of their backside. It's terrible. But still a d*mn sight better than Cebu.
