Instead of going off topic, again, I will post it here. From the many years of dealing with Filipinos, and getting a ton of friction from any good ideas/better ways of doing something, I found there is one pretty good way to manipulate....err I mean, work with the locals. It's quite simple really, I should have figured it out years ago but I'm pretty hard headed and it takes me a while to adopt a new way of doing something myself. 1. Find a local that is in a position capable of making your idea happen. 2. Plant that idea into their heads. 3. Convince them it was their idea. 4. Stand back and watch it happen. 5. Let them take credit for it. Note: Some are not as sharp/capable as others. This might take days, weeks or months. If this is the case proceed to: 6. Remind them about that great idea they had. Note 2: You could be an idiot and your idea might actually be sh*t and you have no idea what you are talking about. (This is the case most of the time.) If this applies and you are capable of realizing it, you should: 7. Immediately stop trying to push your idiotic ideas on the locals. and then 8. Shut up. The local knows you are an idiot and is not going to fall for it. Hope this helped.
