First the negative: It is going to take a long time to vaccinate the majority of citizens here, as you said.

Now the positive: It WILL end - with a combination of controls and some countries building up herd immunity, there will be a fire-break. The virus is NOT an Ebola and so individuals can continue to protect themselves, just as most have done for the past 9 months. World Wars took years to come out of and perhaps in this age we seek only very short-term solutions.

 

Having Lived and worked in Gibraltar for over 15+ years I came to just NOT trust the Spanish Government in anything they say, Just Today for Instance, after all they said about wanting to cooperate with the UK about Brexit and its Border control, They have again put Restrictions on the Border

Oh, BTW I read the DOH recommended against letting the kids go shopping at the mall. Too risky.

 

I think you don't really understand what's going on here in the forum, and your post is your method of coping. This is a place for the intellectual pursuit of understanding the virus, and how it is affecting us here in Negros. That's my answer to your question, "What is the story here?"

 

I come here to read the excellent postings made by MOST members of this first-rate Forum. They are here to give information, advice and sensible opinions.

Then I chuckle at the idiots who descend occasionally but don't seem to last long.

Then I very rarely read some good news:

@mykajabi77 post did not contain any factual information of interest to the group. It is simply a indirect personal attack.

 

Seems to be more difficult to follow along with the points being made. Probably just me. Too used to the KISS method.
