It has been provided a couple times and I have even used the source before. It shows that the older you are and the more health issues you have the higher your risk is from this. It is primarily a disease that older people need to be concerned with because the older you are the more likely it is you have health issues (this is the reality we live in, it cannot be denied). Yes, it gets some younger people but, as is also shown in the source, having pre-existing health issues is likely the cause of that. If you are under 45 and have no health issues the chance this virus killing you is extremely slim. Of course, if you are regularly around your elderly parents or grandparents you should take extra precautions to prevent spreading it to them. Since I am under 45, have no pre-existing health conditions and I'm never around the elderly I have little concern for this. I understand that not everyone is in my situation, my argument is, and always has been, that the burden of lock downs, isolation and quarantine should be on those in high risk categories, not the young, healthy and productive members of society. I wear a mask, stay away from others where possibly and I only go out to go to the gym, grocery shop and once or twice per week, to eat out. You will get nothing more from me.

Ah, maybe talking about different time periods. Interesting.
The other aspect to this, I think is, how the island nature of the country will influence herd immunity. Being many islands has been helpful in sealing borders and containing spread, but this could actually hamper the goal of herd immunity, unlike land-mass countries where citizens can mix more freely. In theory, each island will largely need to achieve it's own herd immunity.
I'm no expert, but just a hunch.-

I got a lot of flack for being old and "scared" back then. At 93% recovery rate I thought my chances were good, but still wanted to assess the threat. Unquantified is how much being infected at my age of 69 starts the spiral down to being bedridden, a lesser life, and then death. Best not to find out by being cavalier about the disease.

I'm concerned, not scared, i don't do much different from what i used to do, going to restaurants, only more take out than before, out of the house just as much as last year for shopping and stuff, only difference there is using a mask. Sorry, wasn't trying to "misrepresent" or scare anyone, and i will concede that you probably didn't use "only" back in february when this blew up.... Even T-day was a restaurant with a group of six. If i get it, i get it, oh well (age 77)...-

After announcing last week that we could expect a vaccine in the Philippines in 'second quarter of 2021', today the NIATF announced that realistically it will be end of 2021/early 2022. Presumably next week it will be last quarter 2022.
After announcing last week that there would be 60m vaccine shots for 30m Filipinos (two each), today NIATF has announced that 60m Filipinos will benefit from vaccination. That might be someone misunderstanding their own information, what what a farce!-

The population of the Philippines is mostly young people with the average age only 24 years old.
It makes sense that young people who are infected do not go to the hospital to get tested. Young people typically have mild symptoms. They do not want to pay and loose their freedom sitting in a quarantine facility for the duration of their illness.
The youngest on the list is 28 year old health care worker. The only reason this person got tested is because they worked in a hospital where they were exposed.
This means that there are many more cases around that have not been discovered.
People have become very lax in following the restrictions. This will probably go the route of Cebu and Bacolod where there was quick spread before the population changed their behavior.-

Absolutely. No more waiting for several days for results and only then starting any necessary contact tracing of positives. Meanwhile the contacts that have been passed the virus are flitting around everywhere passing to others. Faster results will mean faster contact tracing, earlier isolation and less chance of additional spread.
