As far as I know, there is no longer a fast craft from Duma to Dipolog/Dapitan. Quite frankly I much prefer the slow boats anyway, where one can get up and walk around, have a beer, take a nap (horizontal), etc., and where one is not boxed up in a marginally seaworthy bathtub and stuck in a seat with 300 others. I was at Dakak about 15 years ago. At that time it was a nice place but way overpriced. No idea what it is like now. Larry
I've always Thought about Dakak being an alternative to Sugar Beach, Sipalay... But I just think I'll stick with what I know and love best, Sugar Beach..... May not be White Sand. ( more Golden in Color ) but its just so Dam Peaceful there...... Cheers
Steve, You really can't go wrong, whether you stay at Takatuka beach resort, Bermuda Beach resort or Sulu Sunset, that Yogi Owns, You'll love it...
Just a lovely part of the island, less humidity, less pollution, and fantastic sunsets, and.......... less population.
