Wishing you a speedy recovery Jim. Sounds like you made the right decision for treatment.

Sorry to hear Cebu didn't work out. Wishing you all the best and I hope that 'putting the house in order' isn't too stressful.

Here is the big boot in my a$$. I am service connected for my heart disease. But now the VA requires me to pay up front for any medical procedures. The VA's plan is let you die and save the money for all the white coats and blue collars. They say just use the FMP, they will reimburse you. I simply do not have 15 to 20 thousand USDs to get in the front door of the hospital. The FMP program is nothing more than a round-about way for the US government to screw their veterans out of their entitlements to medical. If I am service connected than the VA is obligated both morally and legally to take care of my service connected health issues. So the VA has me right where they want me. Between my grave and their bank, they want to take away my birthday. Which they could not do during my combat years in service. And their propaganda machine has the world wondering "Who makes tourists".

    OLD AGE!
The grim reaper is pounding on my door really hard. I'm propping a chair under the door knob. This old ticker is doing its best to keep up with the load and screaming really loud for some relief. Last Feb. 15 cardio Doc, in Manila, and a cardio Doc. here in Dumaguete suggested I get a coronary angiogram, STAT. The angina has been kicking my a s s for the last 6 weeks. I'm 72 and my dad kicked the bucket at 72, (heart attack). Younger brother dead heart attack at 59, was a month before anyone discovered his body. I might be shaking hands with Glenn sooner than I would like. [IMG] I hope the grim reaper got some really good pain pills to help me swim the river STYX. I hear the water is really cold. Going to try to make it to Cebu City tomorrow for some coronary intervention. [IMG]
