Flight schedules are really going to depend on the dates you are trying to travel. I found a reasonable flight schedule for the 11th of next month. 3 hour layover at both stops for $858.
Doesn't help you right now, but these flights will start in a little less than six months. Not sure when you can start booking them: https://news.cathaypacific.com/cathay-pacific-announces-nonstop-service-from-seattle-to-hong-kong
Not to overdue it but I have to thank you again. We now have tickets for the non-stop direct flight, can even start in Cebu. The alternative would have been a painful and more costly flights.
You're very welcome, glad it worked out! We've flown Cathay several times from the US east coast to Manila or Cebu and been pretty happy. One time there was a delay leaving the US east coast to Hong Kong because of a last minute flight crew issue (illness, replacement crew member had to wait for mandatory rest period). We missed the last connecting flight to Cebu (although if we had been flying to Manila there was a later flight available.) Anyway, Cathay put us up for free overnight at the HK Airport Hotel and gave us meal vouchers, and put us on the first Cebu flight the next morning. We actually arrived in the Philippines much more rested than normally.
